Last weekend, my best friend came to Springfield to help me decorate the nursery. I would say the nursery is about 98% done. I have soooooooo much stuff that I have already been showered with from my brother & sister in law and bff Lindsey. I feel bad having a baby shower, let alone 3!! There are a lot of little things I need (ie bottles, changing pad, sheets, etc.) and some very few big things (swing, pack n play, high chair).
I will post pics in a separate post- I tried the other day on
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 29 weeks 4 days
Size of baby: Brett is the size of a butternut squash; 17 inches long and weighs 3.1 pounds!
Weight Gain/Loss: Up 10 lbs total (1st trimester= 1 lb; 2nd trimester = 6 lbs; 3rd trimester= 3 lbs)
Maternity Clothes: Definitely!
Gender: The Chinese Calendar was right- it's a BOY! Brett James Marcol
Movement: I am feeling Brett ALL.THE.TIME. now. He has now moved his little foot into my ribs, making it hard to eat. I have been feeling some tightness in my lower pelvis for the past couple of weeks, nothing consistent so I am not thinking they are contractions- who knows.
Sleep: Been good- still wake up 2-3 times to pee. I wish my body would sleep more though:( Internal Brett alarm clock sucks
What I miss: my memory
Cravings: Tums and anything that won't give me heartburn (which seems about everything;( ).
Symptoms: peeing, lots of stretch marks on my belly - stopped counting. My acid reflux has gotten out of control. I am still eating at least 6 tums a day and wake up occasionally 'choking' from the acid.
Best Moment this week: "Finishing" Brett's nursery
You'll be down into the single-digit weeks before you know it! I bet you love staring at the almost complete nursery, it just makes it all feel so real, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteGood job getting the nursery done now. I'm 37 weeks and still have SO much to do. And I just can't make myself do it. Get as much done before the uncomfortable stage starts. Everything seemed to get harder at 35 weeks.
