Brett- 21 Months!

Well you are now 21 months + 22 days.  Oops again:)  February was a cold month again. Started off with a snow storm (again!).  We had a few snow days at home again with Mommy.  Words are exploding even more.  We love hearing your new vocabulary!  We went to the pet store and you had so much fun looking at the fish!!! You and Daddy had a great Valentine's Dinner for Mommy (crab legs!)

Sleep (actually a change!)  You are now down to a sippy cup at night before bed. You might drink 1oz, you might drink 5 oz. We lay you down and put a paci in your mouth and one in your hand.  You kind of pass them back and forth and then roll over and fall asleep.  You sleep until 6:30/7am now and it's great!   You are now taking one nap a day.  After lunch you are sleeping about 2-3 hours.  You started waking up earlier than normal and we decided to try the one nap thing.  You adjusted well to it. 

Daily Routine :

7:00am Wakes up and Mommy gives you a sippy cup (you call a Ba Ba) in Mommy & Daddy's bed and we watch Sesame Street.  We started brushing our teeth together in the morning.  Mommy puts you in the pack and play while she showers and you are so excited to get out so we can brush our teeth together!  You do a pretty good job but hate when it's "mommy's turn."  

8am- With your schedule change, Mommy  feeds you breakfast at home yogurt and a pancake/french toast and banana.

8:30am until we pick you up - 1 naps, milk in a sippy, lunch  and lots of playing with Miss Lori.  

4:30pm Daddy picks you up

We come home, you eat and play.  We take a bath, watch a show and you go to bed around 7:30pm

Feed:  

7:00am- 9 oz Sippy cup whole milk

8:00am- Breakfast  yogurt pancake/waffle and banana; started eating cereal occasionally with a spoon and your yogurt too.  You are getting really coordinated! 

11:30am- lunch (mac & cheese, ravioli, veggie burger, pizza ,deli meat, leftovers with veggie/fruit/cheese)

Afternoon snack sometime (cheese, crackers,  applesauce)

you are drinking about 4-8 oz of milk at Lori's out of a sippy

 5:30/6pm-  eat whatever mom and dad are eating. You love anything with marinara sauce or cheese.  You are being a little more adventurous with dinner and haven't refused too much.  You are enjoying eating things Whole ie Pizza, cheeseburger

7pm- 1-5 oz sippy cup of milk

Diaper Size : Size 4; we did move up to size 5 overnight diapers recently. 

Clothes Size:  18-24 month clothes; pants 12-18 month and now size 6 shoes

Hair Color:
You were born with dark (almost black) hair.  Getting blonder every day  (10 haircuts to date) 

Eye color:

At birth: blue/gray

Now:  blue

Fun memories:  Super bowl, you were obsessed with the Rotel cheese dip.  Couldn't get enough!  You are loving Mater from Cars.  There is a show called Mater's Tall Tales on Netflix.  You can't get enough.  Daddy and you spent President's Day together and you got your very own Mater toy!!!  You love it! You are also really into Daddy's Guitar (you call it Tar) and love to dance and "play" the guitar with Daddy.  St

Milestone:  New words- phone, broom, Scott, Frog, Up, Down, Tree, Box, Sheep, Cow, Mote (remote), Water, Two, heart and now call your Paci your "Ba"  What Does a ___ Do?  Frog- you go "ribbitt" and also a penguin goes "waddle"   I quit counting your words. You know the following letters- B, R, E, T, Q, O, G, C, D, Z, Y You can spell your name!!!  You have all of your bottom teeth now except the 2 year molars. You are climbing on everything!  You make Mommy and Daddy nervous- especially the kitchen chairs which are tall!

Your favorite toy:  You love your new kitchen and toy food.  You love the light up turtle that shows the moon and stars.  You are starting to ask to play with cars a lot.   The basketball goal is a new favorite as well. You stand up on the fireplace hearth and throw it in.  Daddy's Guitar and BUBBLES (slight obsession!!!)
