Brett - 22 Months!

Well you are now 22 months + 26 days.  Oops again:)  March was fun with a visit from Grandma Shar and Papa!  You went to your first bounce house and loved it!  You went on a train ride at the train show with Grandma B.  You are starting to put some words together and started counting!!! Mommy and Daddy had their first night away (and missed you tons!).  You stayed with Aunt Julie and Carson while Mommy & Daddy went gambling about an hour away.  You burned your hand on Miss Lori's stove but took it like a trooper.  Didn't even cry until Lori freaked out and we think it scared you.   We are starting to play outside again which you love your slide and swing. Mommy took you for your 12th haircut! She needs to stop counting! We also had another trip to Chuck E Cheese.  Bad idea for Mommy & Daddy to go on a Saturday night!

Sleep :  You are now down to a sippy cup at night before bed. You might drink 1oz, you might drink 5 oz. We lay you down and put a paci in your mouth and two in your hand.  You kind of pass them back and forth and then roll over and fall asleep.  You sleep until 6:30/7am now and it's great!   You are now taking one nap a day.  After lunch you are sleeping about 2-3 hours.  

Daily Routine :

7:00am Wakes up and Mommy gives you a sippy cup (you call a Ba Ba) in Mommy & Daddy's bed and we watch Sesame Street.  We started brushing our teeth together in the morning.  Mommy puts you in the pack and play while she showers and you are so excited to get out so we can brush our teeth together!  You do a pretty good job but hate when it's "mommy's turn."  

8am- With your schedule change, Mommy  feeds you breakfast at home yogurt and a pancake/french toast and banana.

8:30am until we pick you up - 1 nap, milk in a sippy, lunch  and lots of playing with Miss Lori.  

4:30pm Daddy picks you up

We come home, you eat and play.  We take a bath, watch a show and you go to bed around 8:30pm (went back to 8:30pm) with the time change and it's working great!!)

Feed:  

7:00am- 9 oz Sippy cup whole milk

8:00am- Breakfast  yogurt pancake/waffle and banana; started eating cereal occasionally with a spoon and your yogurt too.  You are getting really coordinated! 

11:30am- lunch (mac & cheese, ravioli, veggie burger, pizza ,deli meat, leftovers with veggie/fruit/cheese)

Afternoon snack sometime (cheese, crackers,  applesauce)

you are drinking about 4-8 oz of milk at Lori's out of a sippy

 5:30/6pm-  eat whatever mom and dad are eating. You love anything with marinara sauce or cheese.  You are being a little more adventurous with dinner and haven't refused too much.  You are enjoying eating things Whole ie Pizza, cheeseburger

8pm- 1-5 oz sippy cup of milk

now: I'm guessing 27 lbs

now:  Guessing 34 inches

Diaper Size : Size 4; we did move up to size 5 overnight diapers recently. 

Clothes Size:  Mommy packed ALL the 12-18 month clothes away and brought out all the 24 month and 2T.  The 24 month pants are still long on you:) 

Hair Color:
You were born with dark (almost black) hair.  Getting blonder every day  (12 haircuts to date) 

Eye color:

At birth: blue/gray

Now:  blue

Fun memories:   You are a waving machine. Saying "Hi" at the top of your lungs. Kind of like the "frantic wave."  You now call mommy's tampons "cheese" because they look like string cheese LOL.  You hold your ears when you are done eating and also when you want to block out noise.  

Milestone:  New words- "more bite," "phone talk,"  Elephant (1st 3 syllable word!), airplane, fox, bite, Julie, trash, train, coat, fruit  (grapes- which you are obsessed with!!! and cry over), home, house, owl, bike, helicopter, Ice Cream (in deen), Bert, Ernie, Bird (for Big Bird), Grover, Murray, and Telly.   What Does a ___ Do?  Snake - ssssssss    I quit counting your words. You know all of your letters now.   You have all of your teeth now except the 2 year molars. You went down the BIG slide in the neighborhood with no help from Mommy or Daddy! and you go face first/belly down on your slide at home.  You are also trying to carry NUMEROUS things in your hands.

Your favorite toy:  cars and your slide.  You still love your kitchen   Daddy's Guitar and BUBBLES (slight obsession!!!) Your favorite books are Animal Orchestra, Giraffes Can't Dance, and  Goodnight Moon
