Sleep: Yup, still not sleeping through the night like weeks 8-18:( You now wake up usually 1-2 times a night. Mommy & Daddy can't really do the cry it out thing so we will need to read up on some sleep training for you little one. You usually wake up around 2/3ish and then around 5ish. Mommy feeds you at both wakings and the later one, usually brings you into bed with her to cuddle until it's time to wake up for work. *No update really. Except that we have a book that Mommy started to read. It's called "No Cry Sleep Solution." I am about 1/2 way through. Obviously not in a huge hurry. On the weekends, Daddy gets up with you and he lets Mommy sleep in. You are now a belly or side sleeper. You always sleep with your flannel burp cloth.
Daily Routine: *very little change here
5:30am- Wake up to feed and fall back asleep
7/7:30am- Wakes up and Mommy feeds you before we leave
8am- leave to head to babysitter
(we get there around 8:15am and we get to spend about 15-20 minutes together before Mommy has to leave for work)
8:30am until we pick you up - 2 naps, 2 bottles, puree's for lunch, lots of playing with Miss Lori
4:30pm (MWF) Daddy picks you up
5:30pm (T/TH) Mommy picks you up
We come home, you eat, play, sleep. We take baths every other night and you go to bed around 7:30-8:30pm
Feed:
You are at 5 oz per bottle. You used to eat 15 oz per day while Mommy & Daddy were at work. We are lucky to get 8 oz. You came down with your first "illness," Thrush on January 10th. You did not drink much at the sitter but nursed fine. We 'think' you are finally over the thrush (after 2 prescriptions, Nystatin and Diflucan), but you aren't eating much milk during the day. We have been sending puree's to the sitters and you are like a little bird opening your mouth to eat. You are eating about every 3 hours still except
through the night. You are eating milk around 7times a day.
We are trying some puree's and Baby Led Weaning. You haven't really not liked anything. You do like cucumber sticks. I think it helps with your teething. Avocados are a hit but they stopped you up for a few days so we don't eat a lot of them. You love yogurt!

I love the idea for his birthday party! I can't believe it's even a thought, but we all know how quickly time flies and it will be here before you know it. Sorry to hear he came down with his first bout of the sickies, that's never fun. :( The "so big" game is a fun one!
ReplyDeleteThe party theme sounds adorable! We read "No Cry Sleep Solution" with Little K but it just didn't work. She never (NEVER) even fell asleep in her crib! She finally started sleeping through the night around 18 months and even then was iffy. Wah-wah.
ReplyDeleteDeklan is getting up early all the sudden too! Funny how they change things up on us so quickly! He is such a cutie! :)
